Medtronic Associate Customer Service Specialist with French in United States

It’s a great opportunity to join the Dom-Tom Customer Care Team at Medtronic and become a part of a global healthcare company that improves people's lives by providing innovative medical technologies, services, and solutions.

In this position, you will be able to use your proactive and problem-solving geared mindset while dealing with interesting cases of varying complexity within the Dom-Tom market. You will need to have good communication and customer service skills to provide customers and other stakeholders with accurate, consistent, and timely operational support as part of the Back and Front Office Customer Care Team.

A Day in the Life

• Representing the company to external and internal stakeholders, being at ease with doing so via emails and the phone.

• Entering orders, answering customers’ queries, and when necessary, connecting customers to appropriate sales representatives.

• Tracing shipments and interacting with the shipping department to ensure timely deliveries take place.

• Dealing with customer credits and product returns as well as disputes.

• Working together with other stakeholders to achieve the desired results, including other departments to inform, gain input, and support decision-making.

• Regularly communicating with sales representatives and other internal departments for any process-related information and, or changes.

Must Haves

• Spoken and written proficiency in French and English - minimum B2 or equivalent

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Customer Care Operations Departments

• Experience in using Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, and Excel, and willing to use new applications/tools

• Proactive and investigative mindset as well as a high level of attention to detail and good analytical skills

• Team player who at the same time can work independently on moderately complex tasks with general supervision

• Being willing to recommend enhancements in processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness

Nice to Haves

• Previous experience within an Export Service field

• Previous experience in providing Customer Service for the French market

• Experience in using SAP ERP

• Advanced Excel knowledge (VBA).
