Momentive Performance Materials Quartz, Inc. Primary Operator in Strongsville, Ohio

Job Purpose The Primary Operator will be required to provide production support across ALL areas of the CPS (Ceramic Powders & Shapes) operation (TiB2, Primary, Powder Firing, Hot Press, Crush/Mill/Screen, etc.) as necessary and directed by the supervisor/Operations Manager. The Primary Operator is expected to aid the Primary Supervisor and operators as instructed. Duties and Responsibilities Follow all Job Task Analysis procedures to ensure Safety of Environment and Quality of Product. Perform routine powder production operations as directed, including but not limited to the operation of production equipment, in process/final product preparation and packaging, material transportation, and process data entry across all areas of CPS (TiB2, Primary, Powder Firing, Hot Press, Crush/Mill/Screen, etc.) Ensure all housekeeping and 5S duties completed. Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor or as a result of changing business needs. Qualifications and Requirements Must have the ability to be clean-shaven at all times on the job and able to wear a respirator. Reading skills to comprehend written job tasks and instructions. Writing skills to communicate information to others and to input operations data into the computer. Mathematics skills to understand and interpret process data and perform weight calculations for material compositions, and process control. Must display a positive attitude in a team environment.
