Together, Momentive Technologies and our customers are reshaping the world. Accounting Analyst The Accounting Analyst is a critical role within the Global Finance team. The position is global and supports the Momentive Technologies business units, Quartz, Crucibles and Ceramics. The position will primarily support the Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams. Responsibilities Fixed Assets (75%) Ownership of all accounting, reporting, and tracking of construction-in-process projects Interface and collaborate with Engineering team, R&D team, Finance, and Operations to drive project closures and compliance. Manage and perform transactions for fixed assets subledger and construction-in-process projects. Monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks related to construction-in-process, fixed assets, and depreciation. Assist in the preparation of the reporting package to ownership in IFRS and the annual audited financial statements in US GAAP. Drive development, documentation, improvements, and sustainable/repeatable financial processes. General Ledger Accounting (25%) Perform a monthly reconciliation of intercompany trade receivable, trade payable, and loan balances. Accounts Payable & GR/IR clearing support. Month-end accrual process ownership. Support Controllership on various special projects and ad-hoc initiatives. Basic Qualifications: BS/BA Degree in Accounting or Finance 3-5+ years of relevant work experience Experience working in an ERP system Familiarity of US GAAP and IFRS Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational and project management skills Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills Willingness to take initiative, own and follow through on projects to completion Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment. MS Excel at an intermediate level Preferred Qualifications: Manufacturing accounting experience Experience with Fixed Assets Experience working in/with a multinational corporation SAP Experience Travel Requirements: Up to 5% Our Accounting Analyst will earn a variable compensation including base salary and bonus.
