Seattle Children’s Hospital Clinical Research Budget Analyst II in Seattle, Washington

Responsibilities Clinical Research Budget Analyst II is responsible for the development and negotiation of budgets for clinical trials and studies regardless of funding source that includes industry sponsors, grants, awards, fellowships, cooperatives, etc. Clinical Research Budget Analyst II reviews the Medicare coverage analysis based on available study documents, such as protocol, proposed budget, and informed consent, and captures all clinical costs and investigators and study team efforts required to carry out the study, as well as costs for ancillary services. The incumbent should be familiar with capturing all costs for procedures, labs, and other associated fees on an internal budget and revising the proposed budget to reflect Seattle Children's costs in the final negotiated budget. Clinical Research Budget Analyst II also communicates with other center support services to ensure the harmonization of study documents. The incumbent will be responsible for using current and future systems used by Seattle Children's, such as Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS). This is a remote position with flexibility to be based in the following states: Washington, Texas, Georgia, Florida, Montana, & Alaska #I-D#LI-DS1#LI-DS1 Job Posting Addendum #LI-#LI-DS1DS1 Requirements Required Education/Experience: B. A. degree in financial or business administration field (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or similar), and a minimum of two (2) years' experience in development and management of clinical trial budgets OR equivalent combination of education and experience to include a minimum of four (4) years experience in development, negotiation, and management of clinical trial budgets. Working experience in using a Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS). Working experience in utilizing CPT codes in the process of development of clinical trial budgets. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) may be required for certain positions. Required Credentials: N/A. Preferred: CPT Coding Certificate. Working experience in performing Coverage/Medicare Coverage Analysis. Experience developing budgets for grant-funded trials. Experience negotiating clinical trial budgets with industry sponsors. Min to Max Hourly Salary$44.46 - $66.69 /hrMin to Max Annual Salary$92,476.80 - $138,715.20 /yrSalary Information This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.The union pay ranges can be found on the Seattle Children's website here: - Seattle Children's offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
