Strong West Emergency Department is a fast-paced free-standing ED that manages 20,000 visits a year. Staff is responsible for treating a diverse patient population for everything from minor complaints to strokes to traumatic injuries. Minimum of one-year experience in an acute care setting. Provide direct care to patients across the age spectrum in a fast-paced collaborative environment. Proactive nurse that demonstrates good interpersonal skills, strong prioritization and organizational skills, self-motivation, flexibility and clinical competence.

Qualifications

Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $36.37 - $47.28

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
