Aerotek Maintenance Electrician in RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Ohio

Description:

• Works hands-on in a plant environment on the installation, repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of a variety of building electrical equipment, Production machines and HVAC systems.

• Install electrical wiring and related equipment for all building and plant equipment per local and National Electric codes.

• Troubleshoot and locate electrical problems in machines, equipment, controls and electrical systems (including PLC's and VFD's). Fanuc, GE, Allen Bradley

• Design, construct maintain, and repair electrical power systems.

• Familiar with 4160, 480, 277/120 3 phase A/C - D/C controls SCR's

• Able to Troubleshoot, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Pumps

• Familiar with Diesel and Natural Gas Generators

• Fork Lifts, Electric & Propane

• Perform tests and calibrations using electrical and electronic test equipment.

• Able to design, build, and maintain control panels.

• Does fabrication and assembly work with hand tools, combined with machine tool work.

• Works from sketches, patterns, blueprints and conceptual ideas.

• Keeps accurate records.

• Works with limited or no supervision.

• Maintains supplies and inventories. Will be required to order materials when needed.

• Operates material handling equipment.

• Keeps work area clean and orderly.

• Trains and assists others.

• Follows safe work practices.

• Performs other work as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Certified Electrician with minimum 5 years working experience as a skilled electrician in a variety of industrial applications to include high voltage applications.

• Experienced in industrial electrical systems and components, including AC/DC motor controls, PLC's, and VFD's.

• Worked on the assembly, repair, and fabrication of production/process equipment.

• Worked hands on in a plant environment on the troubleshooting and repair of a variety of process equipment applications.

• Willing to attend a technical training program based on individual skills.

• Qualified candidates will go through a skills assessment.

• Must be able and willing to be trained in plant emergency procedures and act as EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONDER / INCIDENT COMMANDER according to prescribed Company procedures.

• Must be willing and able to complete OSHA Incident Commander and First Responder training.

• Proven ability to work safely and demonstrate attention to detail
