Works under the Foreman's supervision, to achieve a functional and pleasant outdoor space, completes tasks such as planting, removals, pruning, edging, mulching, trimming, material purchases, assessment of complete jobs. Follows written and verbal instructions from crew leaders and foremen. Communicates on job tasks and project status using email, Microsoft Teams, Google Translate. Loads and unloads work vehicles with equipment and tools. Responsible for winter and snow removal projects performing activities such as: snow blowing and shoveling, sidewalk clearing, snow plowing, de-icing, and salting, and assisting in seasonal equipment maintenance. Also assists with policing of maintenance of residential and commercial customers routinely inspecting properties to ensure they are tidy and free of debris, cleaning-up organic debris and litter, performing post-storm cleaning-ups, keeping a regular check on the condition of the properties and performing proper disposal of collected debris and litter. Preparation of inventory for following seasons and coordinating winter tree and lawn preparation and maintenance. 7:00 am start time. Full time and year-round position. Requirements: 6 months of experience as landscaping, groundskeeping worker or related. Must be able and willing to work outdoors in different types of weather, able to perform physical labor, lifts 50 pounds and handles the physical demands of the job: standing, bending, lifting, pulling and climbing.
