Dollar Bank FSB AVP TREASURY MANAGEMENT in Cleveland, Ohio

Job Overview:

Responsible for selling treasury management services to businesses and government entities. These transactions are generally more complex in structure than standard services. Most sales activities will be conducted in-person at the client/prospect’s business. Must have a thorough understanding of the dynamics of the banking/finance environment as well as a focused strategy that supports a client needs based sales process. This is critical to grow the portfolio and provide a level of client service that exceeds client expectations.

Principle Activities and Duties:

•Engage in business development efforts that include enhancing existing relationships and developing new relationships primarily through in-person visits. (Clients and prospects will generally be larger and more sophisticated than those normally associated with the branch network).

•Develop and manage internal partnerships with internal customers: Corporate Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Private Banking and Business Banking to assist them with calling efforts and sell treasury management services to borrowing clients of the Bank.

•Act as a reference for internal/partner inquiries about the Bank’s treasury management services without reliance on Product Management for information.

•Cultivate and develop relationships with referral sources regarding Dollar Bank’s philosophy and our team approach to relationship building.

•Act as a liaison for the various assets divisions and Treasury Management Product for training and new product development needs.

•Respond to and resolve client inquiries and issues with the help of the Treasury Management Team.

•Ability to effectively lead a meeting and/or project assignment.


•A thorough knowledge of cash management/deposit products and services.

•Minimum of seven (7) years banking experience to include cash management.

•Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) Certification strongly preferred.

•Bachelor’s degree preferred.

•Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written, with a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs).

•Strong analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of the mathematics of treasury management, including account analysis.

•Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.

•Ability to focus on the client/prospect; uncover and meet underlying needs, follow through on questions, requests and concerns; approaches each interaction as an opportunity.

•Contagious passion for clients and their businesses.

•Proficient knowledge of IBM/PC, Windows and Microsoft Office.

•Knowledge of banking systems and branch operations.

•Maintain effective relationships with management, fellow employees and business partners while fostering a spirit of teamwork.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Perform sedentary to light work (able to lift up to 20 pounds from floor to waist, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, grasp, or otherwise move objects). See, hear, talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; sit, stand, walk, crouch, reach, pull, push and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity. Able to operate standard office/computer equipment such as photocopiers, fax machines, computers, iPads, scanners, calculators, etc.

Schedule Information: Monday through Saturday 8:30am to 5:30pm.
